sample pages
Well, today I learned how to edit CSS. It was confusing at first but I think I was able to grasp how the .css page affected the .html page. However, I wasn't able to complete my third sample page which would have a template because the stuff it expander wouldn't let me download the new version that was needed. I don't really understand templates or where I will paste that on my new page but I guess I'll learn soon. It was helpful to see the webpage that my classmates had created since I really don't grasp CSS. I feel behind and like everyone knows what they're doing but I'm sure it will become more clear. So, I guess that will have to wait till after spring break! I also was able to add these new links to my original index page. This will probably be my last post until after spring break so farewell!

Hey Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteIt's Brendan (the guy who seemed like an idiot when we went up in front of the class to talk about CSS and how we could help you because his site wasn't done and he didn't have anything to say except "I'll help if you have questions!"... me).
And while that fairly unprofessional maneuver probably doesn't give you loads of confidence in my web design knowledge, I really do know what I'm doing! So if you need help figuring out anything with CSS (how to set up your layout, how to edit something if you use a template...) or if you're having some other random difficulty making your site, let me know!
You can send me an email anytime (lacroi13@msu.edu) and I'll come up with a solution for you right away. I put up my site (it's off of the main page of my page for class: http://msu.edu/~lacroi13/wra210/ if you just click "CSS Notes") and I'm going to put up solutions for any problem that anyone in the class throws at me... so if you have a lot of issues, that's not a problem!
You're totally not behind (and pretty much nobody else knows what they're doing, I swear).
See you after Spring Break :)
thank you so much! i will definitely let you know if i need help, i most likely will because i'm still pretty confused. see you tomorrow!
